With the political situation between the United States and China escalating into a trade war, it’s hard not to wonder how it affects our products and pricing.
The American government has imposed tariffs on anything imported from China, one list of items at 25% and another list of items at 10% and increasing to 25% by the end of 2018. However, Taiwan and Hong Kong are exempt from the tariffs. Thanks to our international reach, we produce our PCBs at our Taiwanese facility, saving you from the additional cost.
Non-PCB orders made at our Chinese facilities will be affected by the tariffs. We apologize for the inconvenience, but this is out of our control. As this is an ongoing issue, we will update this post as it develops.
